Sabado’s early artwork education and learning started on Moloka’i. As the youngest of 12 small children, his mom often place apart ample funds for paint and paper for the fledgling artist. After serving in the US Army, he returned to Hawai’i to show up at the Honolulu Academy of Arts.

On Maui, the Iao Valley State Park symptoms ended up produced by Sabado in 1999. The upcoming 12 months, Sabado returned to his boyhood property in Moloka’i to generate a 40-foot mural for the library at Kaunakakai Faculty. The mural encompassed the 900-yr background of Moloka’i and was commissioned by the Hawai’i State Basis on Society & the Arts.
In August 2001, Sabado completed a mural for the Hilton company in Honolulu that is seen at the entrance to an exclusive spa. Three paintings have been sold to the Hilton for the Private Ali’i Towers Presidential suites. On all 20 flooring of the Hilton Kalia towers, there are prints of Sabado’s floral and hula paintings. He also has done a lot of commissions for private traders.
